Keepin It Green All Year!

We hope your class had a “Green Week” during Earth Week in April! With only a few weeks left in the school year, Green Team will be spending June thinking about “Green” ideas students can carry with them into the summer, as well as planning for next year!

Below you will find a reminder of some resources you and your students have access to.

Additionally, here are some resources from King County Green Schools:

Waste reduction tips from the Lorax: Shared by Crystal Springs Elementary School:

Check out this 3-minute virtual assembly announcement on how to prevent waste. A fun one to share with your class. 😄

Climate Change Connections Webinar:

This webinar shares information about the connection of food waste to climate change, and what students can do to help prevent this. Related read-aloud ideas are shared as well as info for how students can become more involved as activists.

Thank you and please reach out with any questions!
