Monthly Green Team Activities

Each month, a new Green Team Activities resource guide will be posted in the right side bar of this web page. You can use one or more resource or activity for Green Teams or classes. Activities can be used asynchronously via email or community boards, or synchronously in virtual meetings.

Free virtual workshops for students

King County offers free virtual workshops on topics including biodiversity, climate, consumption, and habitat. To sign up for a free virtual workshop for your grade 2 – 12 class, email workshops@triangleassociates.com.

All workshops are aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, are action-oriented and interactive, and help students think for themselves and make connections to real-world issues.

Class workshops can be adapted for different grade levels and class period lengths. Delivered through a variety of online platforms and featuring a live presenter, the engaging workshops offer a unique way to support remote learning.

If your student Green Team or other school team wants guidance to learn about resource conservation or to plan sustainability activities, the Green Schools Program will provide a workshop tailored to your team. Contact your Green Schools’ representative or email GreenSchools@triangleassociates.com

Green Schools’ podcast:  First episode coming soon
